DIRECTIONS:
A standard serving size for one individual is 2 - 4 Tablespoons of powder. Many times people will double this amount and plan on having 2 - 3 servings in an evening and just make it all at once.

Steep 2 - 4 TBS in 8 - 12 oz of hot water
for 10 - 30 minutes on low heat, strain with a very fine strainer such as muslin, a kava infuser ball, a kava strainer bag, or a nut milk bag (consuming the powder may cause nausea). Pour into a kava coconut shell cup or wooden cup, and enjoy!

An alternative method is to blend the powder and water in a blender (adding a tiny amount of coconut oil may help extract some fat soluble compounds such as kavalactones), then strain with a kava strainer bag or nut milk bag, pour into a kava coconut shell cup or wooden cup, and enjoy!

A traditional method of brewing is to put the powder in a kava strainer bag or nut milk bag, get a large bowl and pour cool water over the bag making sure the bag is closed tightly, and let it sit for a few minutes to get the powder wet. Knead and massage the bag for several minutes occasionally squeezing the water out of the bag. Repeat for 5 - 10 minutes. Pour into a kava coconut shell cup or wooden cup, and enjoy!
