This lactic acid cleanser has 8% pure lactic acid for a deeper resurfacing. If new to lactic cleansers try our 5% Lactic Acid Cleanser first and move on to this one! However if you have thicker, older, or less sensitive skin you can start with this 8% lactic cleanser.
