Teapots without infusers
These teapots are intended for use with large whole leaf teas such as Oolong and Puerh. There are holes on the inside that filter the leaves as you pour the tea out.
Each of these teapots are hand etched, hand painted, glazed and fired in small batches in a traditional North Indian kiln. Because of their hand crafted nature, no two are exactly alike. Slight variations in the etched pattern, drips and imperfections in the glaze, as well as subtle shifts in shades and texture all contribute to the one of a kind character of this distinctive Indian teaware. Idiosyncrasies in appearance are part of their essential character and do not interfere with their function.
Suraj Handcrafted Black Teapot
This smooth textured matte' black teapot has a full contoured belly that allows full leaves to infuse well. This is intended for full leaf teas such as oolongs, puerhs, and green teas as there is no infuser but holes allow to filter out the leaves as it's poured. Stainless Steel Tea Infuser (Large) by Finum Teeli
This German-made, 100% BPA- and phthalate-free ultrafine stainless steel filter sits deep in a mug or teapot to brew any loose leaf tea or coffee and the lid doubles as a drip tray. One of the coolest infusers we could find, we've been using them in our tea house everyday for several years and they take a lot of abuse. The only complaint we have is that the filter is so fine that some powdery teas may clog it, and over time tea stains will also start to clog it. But don't worry, to unclog the stains simply soak in bleach or vinegar water for 5 minutes or so. The filter sits deep enough for larger mugs and teapots to ensure the leaves can expand and breath. After brewing your tea just empty the contents into the trash or compost, rinse and you're done. Forget teaballs, this will be your new lifelong friend.
Dishwasher safe (top rack) and the plastic is food-safe and heat-safe that won’t leave any metallic, plastic or other flavors in your brew.

T-Sac filters are ideal for brewing small cups or pots of your favorite tea and herbal blends. The T-Sac filter paper is made of wood cellulose from Manila fibre selected from the Philippines and Equador and are completely chlorine and bleach free, and are biodegradable. The filters are strong, yet lightweight and contain 100 pouches.
Simply add your loose tea into the filter and place the flap under the lid of your teapot or leave it steeping in a mug, being sure not to agitate it too much or leaves may float out.
